MALAWI
Malawi, known as the “Warm Heart of Africa,” is a land of calm waters, rolling highlands, and deeply welcoming people. It is a destination that feels personal and unhurried, where lake life, wildlife, and mountain scenery come together to create an authentic and soulful African experience.
At the centre of it all is Lake Malawi, one of Africa’s great lakes and a defining feature of the country. Stretching for hundreds of kilometres, its crystal-clear waters and golden beaches create a tropical atmosphere ideal for swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, and sailing. Quiet fishing villages line the shore, adding cultural depth to the lake’s natural beauty and making it both a place of relaxation and discovery.
In the south, Liwonde National Park offers one of Malawi’s best wildlife experiences. Set along the Shire River, it is known for elephant herds, hippos, crocodiles, and exceptional birdlife. Boat safaris and guided game drives create intimate encounters with nature, where wildlife is seen up close in a peaceful, uncrowded setting.
Further west lies Majete Wildlife Reserve, a conservation success story where wildlife has been carefully reintroduced. Today, it is home to the Big Five and offers classic safari experiences in a quiet, well-protected wilderness. Game drives here feel exclusive and raw, with a strong sense of renewal in the landscape.
To the north, the cool highlands of the Nyika Plateau rise into rolling grasslands, misty hills, and open vistas. This unique mountain ecosystem is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing, with endemic species and rare antelope roaming freely across its vast, untouched scenery.
